@PrenticePieces Very true, but I've also had many agents tell me they (a) read the sample no matter what, or (b) read the sample BEFORE the query letter.

@roninmercllc I don't know what to say. I've spent a lot of time in the query trenches and haven't seen anything like this. A lot of silence, definitely, but nothing that didn't make sense like that.

@roninmercllc You can get browser extensions like Pixelblock, Ugly Email, and Trocker that block tracking pixels. But I doubt all agents are using them. I also came across a comment suggesting that running a tracking pixel makes it much more likely that your message will land in junk/spam.

@roninmercllc But still, your data can't be completely inaccurate. Honestly I'd like to run some tests of my own! That's a frightening thought. Do you tend to query established agents or new/junior agents?
