Lovely Euro Whitefront at Hundred End this morning is the first decent bird of 2025 - probably one of my last posts on here, so please follow if you want to see posts going forward

Finally a scarce goose at Banks in the Pinks - this nice adult Euro Whitefront is a little distant, but a great looking bird

The wide ranging Snow Goose is back on Banks Marsh this morning, looking slightly less genuine than when it arrived with Pinks a few months ago!

@DWardPhotos Thanks Dave - I'm still not convinced, but not my call - just interested as to why it's being called a Taiga - I would have thought the head shape and thick neck rule that out, but as you say, maybe it's just its posture in those shots. Cheers

Loads of winter thrushes this morning. Mostly Fieldfare and a good sprinkling of those great looking dark Blackbirds. 3 Spot Reds (2 ad, 1 juv/1w) at HOM earlier

Scaup still on Brickcroft this morning and Woodcock over my head as I walked up towards the Golden Ball - village has been better than patch this year! Not good to be back at n the wet though…..
