Supply alone isn’t sufficient. We need to do more to support the lowest-income households and ensure markets are competitive and fair. But there is no solution that doesn’t involve building and preserving much more housing. I remain optimistic that doing so is possible.

Since inflation's peak, inflation has declined as projected, but the economy grew faster and we added millions more jobs than projected. Forecasters said we'd need growth to grind to a halt and the loss of a million jobs. Instead, we've seen 3% growth and nearly 7 million jobs.

New report: 4.2 million small biz owners & entrepreneurs have health coverage through the ACA. But the Congressional GOP plan to end ACA Premium Tax Credits would increase their premiums and raise taxes, including for those earning less than $400,000.
