Darvish deserves so much credit for handling this situation with good humor. The Astros cheated against him, mocked him with racist gestures when he struggled on an uneven playing field, and they cost him millions of dollars. I respected him before, I respect him even more now.

Orel Hershiser has occasionally discussed the concept of an "angry win" on the Dodger broadcast. Basically, after an embarrassing/bad loss, the team comes together with extra motivation and fire the next day to make a point. This is an angry offseason.

My grandmother. Passed away in December. She was a die-hard Dodger fan; her husband made sure I was a fan before he passed in 1996. Sad that she wasn’t here for this, but if there’s a heaven I know she’s watching from it. I still love and miss her so much.

Happy that Kershaw is back. People don't give him enough credit for how incredible he was pre-injury last year (was right there in Cy talks before IL and Blake Snell's crazy run) because he was forced to pitch through a bad injury in the playoffs. Can't blame him for bad depth.
