I grew up in MMOs - some of my closest friends at the time were people I'd never met IRL, only through grinding Zakum in MS or grinding to 99 WC in RS Multiplayer games have changed A LOT since then and there are more minors in digital worlds than ever before. App store moderation remains a double-edged sword: balancing safety w/ timely approvals. The barrier to creation is dropping fast (Loveable, Cursor). Inevitably, excess creative output will bypass moderation bottlenecks, seeking growth where barriers are lower - the web. The next massive app store will be a PWA-focused hub on the web.
I built an app, submitted it then Apple rejected it saying it was a “Copycat” It seems that after real copycats get out there in the App Store, Apple treats every new app in that same niche as a copycat even if it’s not. On days like this, I wish there was a true Open App Store.

not within my area of focus at all but would be very interested in understanding how they're thinking about their market - some of these things seem a bit strange to me, e.g., : - Pricing: 2.499 € + mandatory sub for coffee beans - Abstracted coffee selection ("Roaring Volcano") was super interested til I saw this! (aspiring enthusiast😉)

@IGN agreed. ironically, replayability has gone way down for me in recent games. i still love kicking off new start files of the linear games with a fun new twist (SBQ, type-specific teams, etc) but the sheer amount of content the recent games drop you into is WAY too overwhelming.

@awilkinson as others have said, magnesium (specially magnesium glycinate) if hunger is keeping you up, i’ve found that protein before bed sates my appetite. for me, even drinking the vital protein collagen powder mixed in some hot water (tastes like tea) is enough and lulls me to bed.

@venturetwins $40k a year for K-8 is significantly above average Think the concept and efficiency are cool here but given the latter, would have hoped the tooling would made AI-powered education a bit more affordable. Regardless, see potential for huge ROI for middle and high schoolers.
