On Friday our Reception class went on a “Going on a bear hunt” themed welly walk! They ‘stumble tripped’ through the willow tunnel and ‘squelch squerched’ through the mud to find the hidden teddies!

We are so proud to share this beautiful art mural created by our Y2 children as part of their recent art project. The theme was “Keen to be Green” and the children decided on trees/seasons as the main inspiration. It looks great and really brightens the playground! Welldone Y2!

A great School Council meeting today - we discussed our fundraising efforts so far and what might be the best addition to the Key Stage 1 climbing frame. The School Council have made very sensible suggestions about what should be considered before we purchase!

Our children enjoyed their Bonfire Disco yesterday - great to see them all dancing and having fun! Thank you for the contributions - we raised just over £200 and are going to use the money to buy some new music resources for the children.

This year we have launched our "Big Buddies - Little Friends" scheme where each Year 5 child becomes a Big Buddy for a child in Reception. The Big Buddies met their Little Friends to do some reading and are planning to join them for lunchtime, play time and for a bear hunt!
