Its people like this that make me lose hope in any semblance of rational thinking and discourse within the fandom. Attack on Titan is one of the most anti-propaganda, anti-war, and anti-fascist stories I've ever consumed. People who don't see that shouldn't watch it.

@CopyCattu This was set up from the very beginning of the show. Thors literally says "You have no enemies" and "A true warrior needs no sword" this pacifism message has been prevalent from the start, and the excessive violence is only there because they need to show how it can ruin lives.

The main message of Attack on Titan has always been that needless violence and hatred only plunge our world further into chaos and war. These two Children did nothing wrong themselves, the world made them do things they would never do otherwise. I wish some people could see that.

Armin's self-hating breakdown was so raw and emotional. His voice actor truly cooked here, she truly captured the genuine Humanity and frustration that comes with self-loathing. It felt so real to me, truly a highlight of the episode in terms of voice acting and emotions.

While they didn't 1-1 adapt the iconic Baby panel from the Manga, they still integrated this scene in an extremely unsettling and disturbing way. The artistic choice to have everything black and white except for the Baby was incredible in my opinion, and made the scene unique.

Arifumi Imai cooked with this final Levi cut, it was so fluid and hype-looking, the colours only added to the beauty of shot. It might be the best action sequence in the whole show other than Levi vs Kenny Squad and Levi vs the Beast Titan...man Levi had a lot of insane fights.

I think Hange, alongside Armin, represents true freedom in AOT. They don't care about war or victory over their enemies, they only care about what makes them happy and fulfilled. That is true freedom, the ability to enjoy life regardless of what others think or push you to do.

@AugustFlare @AoTJewels @AllAnimeVibe It's foreshadowing the true power of the Attack Titan (its ability to see the memories of future inheritors), we didn't know this information yet Kruger mentioned Mikasa and Armin even though they hadn't been born at that point, so it hints at the true nature of the Attack Titan.

I think the confirmation that Ymir did free the pigs and the smile on her face showcase a lot about who she is as a person even during her "mindless slave" phase. She values freedom above all else and helps others achieve it despite her inability to be free herself.

Akuma No Ko is the perfect ending song for Attack on Titan. I kinda wish they do another one because this song is what truly defines the ending of the series and the mind of Eren Yeager. The lyrics are perfect, the visuals are perfect, the song is perfect, it's just...perfect.

This is why Vinland Saga is a story like no other. The excessive violence in Season 1 (Thorkell decapitating 3 NPCs in a row etc) didn't affect me nearly as much as this, because that stuff can only be found in fiction, but this is very much real and relatable to many people.

@NGEScreenshot Kaworu in the Manga is easily one of the most bold portrayals of an Eva character EVER. I prefer the gentle and loveable Anime Kaworu but I respect how they made him so sinister, mysterious, and unlikeable in the Manga. Sakamoto went in a unique direction and I love it.

Eren Yeager is not a black-and-white character. He is very complex, I'm pretty sure nobody understands him completely, including me, that is the magic of his subtle writing. He is crazy, he is calm, he is arrogant, he is humble, he is childish, he is mature. He is Eren Yeager.

Some people may hate on this scene...but I don't. I think it's darkly beautiful. While it is grotesque and disgusting, it shows that beauty and love can be found in even the darkest of times, emphasised by the light of the sun engulfing the dark cave that is Eren's mouth.

One of my favourite new characters introduced in Vinland Season 2 is Snake. Snake isn't evil nor is he good, he's just an honest guy who wants to survive. Like Askeladd, he doesn't revel in his vile actions but accepts them as a truth of the world. He is very nuanced and complex.

I know most people are against using still shots in Anime, but I think Eren's death NEEDS to be a bunch of stills to have as much impact as it should. They *cannot* afford to mess these panels up, they need to capture the emotions perfectly, still shots are the way to go.

I know Season 2 ain't over yet, but I just want to gush about how great Vinland Saga is, and I doubt the last 6 episodes of S2 will change that. It's an incredible story about loss, hatred, redemption, depravity and much more. I commend Yukimura for writing such an engaging tale!

I'm not very happy they still chose to include the Reiner letter sniff but tbh seeing the Alliance lined up like this gave me chills. All of these characters went through so much so seeing them bicker and stuff was very heartwarming. They truly were heroes of Humanity.

Eren and Thorfinn are two sides of the same coin. They both start out as vengeful and angry Teenagers, but slowly start to go in opposite directions. One is a young man making the wrong decisions and becoming a monster, the other becomes the best version of himself.

I've never been the biggest fan of Reiner as a character, not because he's bad or anything I just never got invested in his story, but this final moment with him and his Mom was beautiful. I felt happy finally seeing Reiner be accepted for who he is, and find solace in that.

I'm so happy the Anime improved this much on Hange's death, a scene I really did not like in the Manga. It just goes to show how dedicated the people at Mappa are to making this adaptation the best that it can be, I'm so hyped to see 135-139 under their direction!

Insane episode of Vinland this week. It's amazing how each episode is better than the last. As an Anime Only who already knew what was going to happen, nothing could have prepared me for how impactful and engaging this episode was. Animation went hard too. #VINLAND_SAGA

I really love Armin and Mikasa's friendship, its so underrated. It's neat to have a non-romantic Male/Female relationship in the story. They are always there for each other and they love each other, not romantically, but as lifelong friends and comrades. It's really nice.

Attack on Titan single-handedly ruined my experience with almost every other Anime I watch. You can't just watch AOT and then come back from that experience without having higher standards. Only rare shows like Vinland Saga and shows I already liked before AOT come close.

It's crazy that people think Eren only became a psycho after he kissed Histoira's hand as if he didn't ruthlessly murder two Human beings at the age of 9 and show no remorse afterward, unlike Mikasa who was traumatized after doing the same thing. Yeah, now he's a psycho...

@AnisYahiaM2 Reiner and Bertholdt's reveal genuinely blew my mind the first time I watched it. Not many plot twists can make you question everyone you have been told up until that point, or make you rewind just to see if you heard that right. It's awesome, not to mention the sick OST.

It boggles my mind that people think this one brief moment ruined Reiner's entire beautiful character arc. This scene is supposed to show that Reiner is no longer depressed, and that he is back to his old simping antics from pre-timeskip. It's cringe but that's the point.

Crazy how Eren fakeout died at the beginning of the series inside a Titan's mouth and by the end of the series he actually dies in a Titan's mouth. This is either a coincidence and I've gone insane, or I'm a genius who has cracked Isayama's code. You guys be the judge of that...

A reminder that the idea of Eren not knowing why he did the Rumbling is easily debunked by this simple panel that goes ignored by the fandom. Eren knows why he did the Rumbling, he wants to be free, what he doesn't know is why he has such a desire and why he feels this way.

@antwt_x Miura did the same. The best Mangaka know how to draw a good and emotional sex scene. While yeah its nice to look at, the sex scenes in both Berserk and Tokyo Ghoul actually serve important roles in the plot. This is the best way to provide fan-service in a story, make it matter.
