The lifeline between Townsville and Cairns is open. The first trucks passed over Ollera Creek bridge last night. 🚧 The priority movement of freight, supply and emergency vehicles will be coordinated by @QldPolice. General traffic to be allowed this PM.

Massive shout out to these legends from Townsville's Water Police who haven't been out of their wetsuits in days. They have gone above and beyond (and into some pretty murky waters) to keep people in flood-affected North Qld safe. Thank you for your service. 👮♂️🚔🤿
