You still have to have guys who can get into the paint, nba teams give up open 3s when they have to help. Not to mention how an NBA team would target weak defenders on the other end. No college team is winning a game even with shooting variance

In conclusion, the argument that Giannis struggles versus elite defenses is widely overblown. The stats show that Giannis, against those defenses, a majority of the time has had the best series against them in that run.

If you watched the game, Giannis should’ve had like 15-18 assists. He dished AT LEAST 10-15 wide open 3s tonight. Guys just couldn’t hit shots. Kinda hard for Giannis to get in the paint if the defense can converge on him because nobody can shoot.
