People often ask me, what my favourite fire engine is I've photographed. Well, during 2024 it has to be Hamburg's massive Aerial Platform based on a Scania P500XT chassis with Bronto Skylift F70RPX booms which reach 70 metres. HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! 🎉🎊🥳

This stunning 1958 Oldsmobile Super 88 Fiesta was used by the Chief Fire Officer of the Felgueiras Volunteer Fire Brigade in Portugal for many years. They keep it perfect condition, and running order to this day.

Happy #ThanksgivingDay to my American followers. Here is an unusual unit of the #FDNY, an All Terrain Response Vehicle based on a Ford F550 Super Duty. Its based with E329 in Rockaway Beach, Queens due to the many properties that are off road. 🇺🇸

Probably one of the most unusual 'fire engines' I have photographed, the volunteer fire brigade of Lahovce in Slovenia have this Yugoslav Torpedo tractor which tows a firefighting trailer. It has a water tank, hose reel, pump and monitor.

This 2021 Volvo FM460 Aerial Platform was built by Kenbri and has 32 metre Bronto Skylift booms. It is based at Oosterhout, part of the Central and West Brabant Safety Region. #Brandweer

Hazle Township Fire & Rescue is a volunteer department in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. They have a mostly Seagrave fleet in this attractive lime green and white livery. Sadly, the tiller truck has since been destroyed in a road accident.
