I grew up in group homes & foster care so if I wanted something I had to work for it. Started working at 12 & even bought my first car with my own money. Paid my own insurance & gas. Kids today don't understand the value of working for your money

So proud of my oldest. He's been working since they cancelled school. Instead of blowing his money he bought his own car & is paying for the repairs/refurbishment himself. He's not even 17 (next week). Proud mamma moment
