Tom Brady was the only QB who didn't get sacked yesterday. He also didn't get sacked last week against the Chargers. Pats OL Coach Dante Scarnecchia is a legend
Eli Manning is a more qualified Hall of Famer than Aaron Rodgers.
Bring all the smoke you want. I’m taking 10 over 12 anytime a game is on the line or the playoffs.
Being a young guy on this team. One thing that I was so impressed by was the sideline communication after a series. Coaches and players would have some serious back and forth and both would listen to the other.
My grandpa passed two weeks ago. Worked his ass off to provide a stepping stone for my family. Taught me the most important things I know.
Accountability and Availability.
Show up on time and be ready to work.
Is Eli a first-ballot Hall of Famer?

"There was never a season he was considered one of the 3 best QBs in football." —Nick
That line the giants have pushed “we’re trying to see what we got” is straight Bullshit. We know what Geno is and if Webb was special he’d be playing already.
People are using the wrong metrics to validate Eli’s Hall of Fame Candidacy. If you purely base it on stats and his two SB (MVP’s), he is a lock to make it.
Love this hire by the
@Giants
!!! Special teams coaches do not get enough burn for Head Coach interviews! Only Coach in the building that has to coach every position group!!
A little story about Coach Coughlin and his wife as we all pray for them:
My wife and I were having dinner at The Capital Grille in Paramus NJ. I cant remember the time or date but it was late in the season and it wasn’t one in which we one the Super Bowl. Megan and I saw Coach
I love this: Practice squad players usually are not on the sideline for games.

HC Antonio Pierce changed that and made sure they were for his first game as head coach.
His explanation tells you all you need to know about why the players are all in for him.
This is a
Eli Manning said he spoke to Ben McAdoo and Jerry Reese about this decision today.
John Mara is at the owners' meetings in NYC, and I can't believe Giants made this move without Eli and Mara talking face to face first.
I'm told they have not and are expected to do so tomorrow.
However upset you might be at Gettleman at least he answered questions after making a move. It wasn’t long ago the front office in NY wouldn’t answer to why they did certain things..... much respect Mr. Gettleman
My Burfict take: I’m a guy that loves the physical part of football, ask the guys I played with. That being said
@JustinTuck
once told me “if we as players don’t protect each other, who will?”. Really changed the way I approached the how I played.
As for this week at the
@Giants
facility, I don’t think anyone, but a select few know what happened and I like that. In the age of everything leaking, their ship seems a little tighter than years past.
The crazy thing about this sack, Osi told exactly what he was gonna do and it worked. That’s why I’m a little slow on the front side. Getting ready if Aaron breaks out on my side of the pocket. Osi is the best pass rusher that I ever played football with. Period.
So not only has he not played with any Hall of Fame players. He only had two first team all pros in 16 seasons!!? This argument about Eli’s greatness is getting easier by the tweet!!

That ‘07 Pats offense was unreal. Record setting. You could argue that the ‘07 was the best super bowl performances by a defense in NFL history. If we don’t win that game, the Pats are the best team to EVER play football.
@DTollefson71
Eli gets his ignorant criticism from the “experts” from afar.
But every single ex-teammate of Eli’s has nothing but respect and admiration for him as a player, teammate, and person.
More people need to read between the lines there.

There are so many memorable things about this game (2007 NFCCG). Coughlin’s red face. Favre’s final throw ever for GB. But nothing tops
@lt4kicks
confidently drilling the OT winner with a frozen football.
Don’t even get me started on the failure of the front office to build a team around him. After 2011, they wasted at least 5 prime years of an all time great. But even then, Eli strapped up and played ball.
This whole rant on Eli wasn’t to dis the guys he played with. It was to make a point about how great Eli was. I’m tired of weak ass talking heads saying he wasn’t.

It was really only a matter of time before both these guys were fired. Just sucks it was at Eli’s expense. Gonna be hard to keep Eli in the fold for next year. I think he really needs a fresh start at this point. And last but not least, thank you Mr. Mara.
Eli carries a franchise for 14 seasons. He put the
@giants
on his back and never missed a snap. As the sun rose and set, Eli stepped out of the tunnel and played ball. Never bitched or moaned about not getting help.
Ain’t no excuses. It’s just the truth. Did you also listen when I said it was because he couldn’t carry a team or just you just settling in to trolling while ignorant.
Everyone is up Eli’s ass. Starting to piss me off. Oline is getting shredded, dudes running wrong routes. I kinda want him to just retire and say “F” it
better half. As Judy turned around she sprang from her seat and greeted us with her million dollar hug! Asking about our son (by name) amongst other things, but not a whisper of football.
He can’t move, you’re right, he’s never been able to move. He turns the ball over, he’s always turned it over. He still has good vision and a good arm. Go get a new qb and put him on this team and he will be garbage
@DTollefson71
Look, I love Eli. He’s a great giant . A hall of famer. He is not a good NFL QB anymore. He doesn’t move, doesn’t create, and doesn’t have the vision anymore. I know your a former pro and a teammate and you’re not gonna say anything bad about him . But cmon .
Eli on OBJ's comments that he was reason why Giants were in prime time often: "I don't think they bothered me. You just kind of shake your head and laugh. ... I won a few games before he was here."
Had a staff meeting yesterday with
@ReiverFootball
coaches. You wouldn’t believe it, no F-bombs, no fights, and no one was threatened with being fired or cut.....

Eli Manning's current pace:
Completion percentage: 69.1 (career best)
Passing yards: 4,471 (2nd best career total)
Touchdowns: 21
Interceptions: 10 (career best)
Passer rating: 96.5 (career best)
Number of times sacked: 57 (career high)
And his wife Judy at dinner as well that evening. My wife didn’t want us to bother them but like any other husband I didn’t listen. I approached the table from behind Judy, as Coach saw me he flashed his million dollar scowl. At this point I thought I should have listened to my
I see why Belichick, Brady and the Pats are so secretive. Sometimes I think they outthink themselves. That whole Gronk ankle deal in SB 46. We had a game plan for him. If he was healthy we’d have used it. He wasn’t, so we didn’t. It had 0 effect on our preparation
Another year as the father of my boys. I thank god every day that he gave me a chance to make an impact in there lives. I love football, I love what football provided my family and I. I love God and his blessings more. Thank you Jesus for dying for me. I am not worthy.
