Bill Simmons trying to jab Eli Manning asking him what his favorite hold was on the Helmet Catch in Super Bowl XLII.
Eli: "Tyree holding the ball on his helmet was my favorite hold."
Darius Slay repeatedly mocked the Giants this past season for letting James Bradberry go for cap reasons, allowing him to land with Eagles.
Now the Eagles are doing similar with Slay.
Kinda crazy how that happens.
Giants could use help at CB.
Just Slayin'.

This is interesting: Patrick Graham has signed a contract extension to stay as assistant head coach/defensive coordinator of the
#NYGiants
. He has decided not to consider head coaching opportunities for 2021, according to the team.
Isaiah Hodgins was waived by the Bills on Nov. 1 with the intention of getting him to the practice squad.
Buffalo needed a spot for Tre White.
Hodgins was about to go into Brandon Beane's office and re-sign to PS when the
#Giants
called.
8 games: 33 catches, 351 yards, 4 TD
6-1 Giants open as 3.5-point underdogs against the 4-3 Seahawks in Seattle next Sunday.
Hearing that BYE will open as a 1.5-point favorite over NYG the following week.
After seeing this video, I'm convinced that
@obj
will ultimately come back to the Giants at some point before his career ends because we won't be talking about how big his personality is.
Giants haven't had this much juice from a single player on defense in a while.
No one should feel bad for the Giants. As I said, they made their bed.
This is a bigger issue about the integrity of this game that Doug Pederson is mocking. Hard not to see it any other way.

DB Julian Love is heading back to campus at Notre Dame for this semester. He needs 21 credits for his degree and is taking on the entire course load in order to complete his undergrad studies over the next few months.
Eli Manning lost the first two playoff games of his career. Peyton Manning lost the first three of his career.
But go ahead and tell me that this is a referendum on Lamar Jackson because he’s a “running QB.”

Kayvon Thibodeaux on Nick Foles: "I mean, after a sack, you celebrate. I think that, when I did realize he was hurt, we started getting up. When you’re doing the celebration, you’re not looking to see who’s doing what. I hope he gets well and I hope he’s alright, obviously."
Something doesn't feel right this morning about Joe Judge exiting way he did, mocked as a clown + saddled with the losing of the past two seasons, and the other side of this with Dave Gettleman riding off into retirement. Personnel decisions much more of a problem than coaching.
Giants DC Patrick Graham on potential head coaching interest: "I'm not smart enough to think ahead of today. I've got to get ready for third down against Arizona."
Victor Cruz tells me that Kayvon Thibodeaux promised him last week in London that, if and when he got his first sack, he'd hit the salsa dance for him in celebration.
Promise kept a week later.

The 28-day arc of Daniel Jones
Nov. 2: The Giants will never win a big game with Daniel Jones at quarterback
Nov. 30: The Giants will never win a big game without Daniel Jones at quarterback
Odell Beckham Jr’s reps have done a masterful job - absolutely masterful - creating a market in the eyes of the public for a 30-year-old wide receiver who tore his ACL in February.
Free agent visits, players falling all over themselves on social media … just masterful.
The Buccaneers are scheduled to play

at MetLife Stadium this season.
Tom Brady at QB for the Bucs.
Put the game on MNF and induct Eli Manning into Ring of Honor.
I was interviewing

rookie Jalin Hyatt when Daniel Jones walked by.
"Ask him if he hit 24 miles per hour today!" Jones joked.
So I did.
Hyatt didn't know yet re: today, but told me the team GPS has tracked him as fast as 24 mph "a few times" so far in camp.
Arrow up.
Giants are all about positional value. $30 million for an edge rusher rather than $13 million for a RB and $17 million for a safety.
That's how they're going to view this move.
Cowboys putting the full court press on OBJ for three weeks, only to end his visit with attempt to crush his market with Jerry Jones throwing cold water and leaks about his physical today is something else.
You can believe Daniel Jones isn't the best option at QB for Giants next season and still give him credit for how he's playing.
I know, that's difficult to do.
The Giants lost to Washington last season in prime time on a disputed offsides call on a missed field goal with zeroes on the clock.
They won the game and celebrated until they lost it. Remember that this morning amid all the DPI and illegal formation outrage.
All those who questioned how Giants could let Kadarius Toney out of the building last year refused to see the big picture. He's a gadget player, not a WR1.
Giants wanted to develop him. First regime tried + couldn't. This regime tried, but it was a lost cause.
This is who he is
I get the frustration over the Giants falling out of the No. 2 spot in chase for Chase Young, but are we really suggesting current players should do what they can to lose? Or ownership should tell them to lose?
Your QB threw 5 TDs today and the RB looked generational again. 🤷♂️
In discussion of perceived Twitter grievances about playing time from Tae Crowder and Rodarius Williams, Giants DC Wink Martindale: “I’m more of a TikTok guy.”
Jihad Ward doesn’t waste time getting to the point in talking about the challenge facing the Giants. Leaving the language the way it is for impact, so if you’d rather not hear it, don’t watch the video.
The "Eli Manning was carried by his defense to two Super Bowl wins over Brady and the Pats" crowd needs to brush up on history and actually go back and learn a little bit about those two playoff runs.
Start with the 4th quarter of both those SB games.
Giants GM Joe Schoen could've just stormed away from the negotiating table at 4:01 on July 17. He held all the cards financially and didn't have to keep talking with Saquon's reps.
They kept talking. Schoen did his job, and he did it well, despite what some ex-NFL execs tell you
Look, the Giants only have the Giants themselves to blame for having to rely on a divisional rival to get into the playoffs.
But going to Sudfeld instead of Hurts is a slap in the face to competition.
Sounds like Giants were considering Jalin Hyatt when they took John Michael Schmitz, and when a couple picks went by and he was still on the board, Joe Schoen said to the room: "Wonder if we can get 'em both."
They did. Schoen says he is a good friend of Josh Heupel.
Kayvon Thibodeaux just crushed Nick Foles, and Foles is down.
Sack for Thibodeaux and the cart is out for Foles.
Thibodeaux was doing snow angels in celebration and I'm not sure he even realized Foles was down on the turf next to him.
Since everyone's giving their appreciation of Eli Manning today, here's mine from a personal angle, off the field: back in August, he sought out my daughter to wish her a happy birthday at training camp.
I'm not sure if Eli remembers or even knows my name, but he remembered hers.
