It's a bitter sweet moment. After I lost my wife, I told my son and his girlfriend that if they ever decided to get married, they could have her rings. As we were leaving our campsites this morning, they told me that they're getting married.

Well, I found out my stepson and his girlfriend are going to have a baby. I'm happy for them, but I know his mother, my wife, would be elated and scold him at the same time.

In today's hustle and bustle world, we tend to forget to "stop and smell the roses" or to be grateful for what we have. A year ago today I lost my best friend, who also happened to be my wife, in a horrific vehicle accident. My life has not been the same since.

I actually made it through the work week without cussing someone out at work even though he would have deserved it. He tried my patience all the way up until he left for the day today. Oh well, Monday is a new day for me. 🤣🤣🤣

Almost had to call off work because of the large amount of snow we got this morning. Don't know if the snowblower could handle the accumulation. 🤣🤣🤣

I guess you're not allowed to get a to go box at that restaurant. I would have had a discussion with the manager before walking out. I have too many friends and family that were or are in the food service business. They would have lit into that person.
