Mesentery pinch test
Once the bowel is eviscerated in case of strictures of bowel or in crohn's disease ,an appropriate area of soft, pliable proximal healthy bowel is identified by the “mesentery pinch test” to decide safe margins for resection. Ref:Cleverland clinic, 2021.
