Elections matter, but if you don’t like the outcome it’s totally legitimate to say that low participation, a history of unequal civil rights, and the totally corrupting influence of money leave any result a far cry from the will of the people.

I listened to this but didn’t take notes. Even in walking back her money laundering comments she didn’t commit to supporting funding for refugees. Rhetorically getting back to “not money laundering” is still worse off than we were.
