@gordmccallum I love those stories. I love working with kids who have a chance to prove people wrong. That's my passion, but proving people wrong and playing D1 or getting to the NHL are very different. Great chat here today. Appreciate your viewpoint! Sorry I'm a writer so I'm long winded.

@gordmccallum It doesn't benefit me to tell a kid that he can't do something and should focus his time and energy in a different direction or on another level other than I can sleep at night and it's the right thing to do if I'm really trying to help them.

Everyone has an opportunity to watch all of these leagues in person or webstream. No matter what label you want to atttach to anything, your actual "Tier" depends on the level of play, how many players advance & in the US if it's free. Do your homework!

@gordmccallum Then I'll get parents who I'm trying to literally save thousands of dollars telling me that I'm squashing their kids dreams and being negative when all I'm trying to do is be honest and help them get to the highest level they can.

@gordmccallum It just makes sense. If teams are tendering and drafting a bunch of kids but also have returning-player protected list and a finite number of roster spots ... a lot of kids aren't making that team. Math is not my forte, but ...
