INVOLVE say research that is truly inclusive for the people it serves should be carried out ‘with’ or ‘by’ people rather than ‘to’, ‘about’ or ‘for’ them. @DECODEproject2's PPI members are part of the team, presenting at conferences, webinars and research forums.

The UK government want people from underserved groups to become more active in research. @DECODEproject2 has PPIE groups and participants with a wide range of lived experiences and recruits on an ongoing basis to widen participation @MENCAP @LDAwareness

Sometimes communication, consent and accessibility barriers prevent people with learning disabilities from being part of research. Researchers must work closely with the community and overcome hurdles. @DECODE we love working closely with our PPIE. @LDAwareness @AIM_RSF
