An alarming BBC investigation highlighting a clear requirement for DA training - inc. coercive control awareness - across all statutory safeguarding services.
Detecting a controlling abuser is a huge challenge that social workers face every day. But I have found many do not receive specific training on coercive control which can save lives, despite it being a crime since 2015.
