Ring-necked Duck briefly on Windermere at Ambleside this morning, but it's a very big lake and could have just moved out of sight.

A male ring-necked duck was on Windermere from Borrans Park this morning, a first for the patch taking the total to 140 and my 113th species personally. Also a great white egret dropped in briefly before flying S/SW down Windermere. Full list -
