Effective immediately, The Boneyard Dog Park, tennis and paddle tennis courts, handball courts, baseball/soccer/multi-use fields, and basketball courts are closed. Playgrounds and fitness (parcourse) equipment areas were closed previously.
On Monday, City Council heard from over 35 residents on the purchase of the Martin B. Retting gun store and voted to purchase for $6.5 million.
Council directed that the building be repainted and that the City use a community input process to determine its future use.
