Just seen this on IG after seeing your convo & just further the fact that children isn’t synonymous/= to family just society programming & the programming be women’s downfall/hurt women more.. Family from a God pov is like a divine institution built on love, faith, spiritual unity, shared purpose etc.. It’s more than “blood” relationships, just having kids or even marriage if it’s not a covenant one

It’s kinda like how when we say black people cant be racist because we don’t have power and control. I believe a black man can’t be patriarchal if he doesn’t have power and control of his resources. Again, this doesn’t negate the fact that black men haven’t adopted that mindset
