@markcoddington First day of college, I was nodding intently to this prof who was talking about how to succeed in class (critical thinking, etc...) when he pivoted mid-lecture to say that the thing that worried him most was when students just nodded in agreement with him. I was mortified!

@ihatejoelkim I kinda thought Joe Rogan was cool on News Radio, so for me he has to be the biggest example of cool rot. Btw, the best aged Gen-Xer has to be Fiona Apple; with a runner-up award to Dave Grohl who manages to be quite cool despite having a kind of sucky band.

Losing the right to choose is imminent. This decision will affect millions in our country, making health care even less accessible than it is now. Yet, Cuellar voted with Republicans against codifying #Roe . We have the last word on May 24. #TX28

@aliner A few years ago, I was teaching an American lit class and we read "Howl." Afterward, I asked my students about what counts as "counterculture" now, in their time. Loooong silence and one student said/asked, "terrorism"? And that was a _real_ moment of realization for me.
