None of @MikeBenzCyber’s arguments on Bangladesh make any sense: 1. The activities of the NED-backed IRI that Benz claims, occurred between 2019 to 2020, happened under Trump 1.0 The violent revolution against Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, which led to her departure, occurred in August 2024 under Biden. The two events take place on two different timelines, and Benz fails to connect them. 2. The IRI document Benz references was from a @TheGrayzoneNews report released in September 2024. A subsequent investigation into the matter by the @DhakaTribune in October 2024 found that the IRI document was a forgery. The IRI itself claimed their document never talked about destabilizing Bangladesh’s politics, working with 170 democratic activists, or discussing anything about supporting the opposition. Why did Benz go on national television across @TCNetwork, @NEWSMAX, and many others to promote this blatant lie? Was he in the know about this? If so, is he trying to sabotage all efforts in bringing accountability on the Biden deep state’s foreign interference efforts in Bangladesh? Or was he unaware of the @DhakaTribune’s piece and just ran with the story without following up with the IRI? How anyone can blindly believe @TheGrayzoneNews with their reputation of spewing anti-American propaganda is odd. 3. The conspiracy to set up US military bases in Bangladesh has never been proven and comes from the words of a politician, Hasina, who does not disclose her sources in any real detail or provide any corroborating material. Benz presents this perspective and tale as if it were accepted fact. 4. Not one single time did Benz mention anything remotely true about Bangladesh other than the rappers, which, yes, we paid for. 5. There was nothing about the religious minorities of Bangladesh facing an ongoing pogrom or anything substantive about the new country’s leader, Muhammed Yunus, a known friend of the Clintons, Soros, and Bidens. The happenings of Bangladesh will never be a priority for the American public, even as the country’s courts release scores of Al-Qaeda and ISIS affiliates from prison, mostly on “humanitarian” grounds. These interviews with Benz were a golden opportunity to educate MAGA about the ongoing political crisis in Bangladesh. Instead, it was wasted on self-sabotaging efforts or poor homework. I will continue persisting as I have done so previously—through discussions with my Senators, @JackPosobiec, Steve Bannon, the President’s family, and his advisors who are now in his cabinet. We need to stop subsidizing the persecution of Bangladesh’s religious minorities, declassify all government documents pertaining to Bangladesh’s July Resolution, and construct a meaningful US-Bangladesh foreign policy.
