I will say, Sony and Nintendo both dropping massive, hugely anticipated games on the same day, both of which are some of the best of the generation in many ways, while Microsoft spends millions of dollars to say "Hey, hey! We exist too!" is a great summary of the last 2.5 gens.

Even the fact that Spider-Man is Sony's only major title this year is very indicative of the past few console cycles tbh. Nintendo is focused on putting out multiple quality titles a year, Sony is focused on having one or two huge releases, and Microsoft is focused on existing.
