We will see… I’ve been wrong before and I’m not afraid to be so. Thanks for being polite about it 🫡 I guess it comes down to whether: 1. we think we are under attack; 2. What are allies think… they might be next. At the moment we are a virtual pinâta at the birthday party while everyone else watches… Last time I checked, there was no “must be a member in good standing” clause to the @NATO charter… Also, I think @NORADCommand is no longer the certainty we have enjoyed it being for decades…

Modern “conventional” submarines use a variety of supplemental power systems known as “AIP” (Air Independent Propulsion) which include Hydrogen… we could/should be leaders in some of these technologies as they have other uses such as electrical power in remote (ie; northern) locations. Our potential is only limited by ourselves…
