@jagodagrondecka and I visited a reconciliation center in Damascus. We met Assad's former soldiers. They were photographed, catalogued and interviewed by the new authorities. Officials there told us that most of the men there would get amnesty when their investigations end.

Worth translating. We built a fire from cardboard and rubbish that we scavenged from a dumpster to keep warm as we waited for an airstrike. It’s a sad daily reality for many of Lebanon’s displaced people.
Kiedy filmowaliśmy jeden nalot, zbombardowano moją dzielnicę, miejsce, w którym codziennie przechodzimy. Bardzo zimna noc, rozpalalośmy ogień na poboczu drogi, żeby się rozgrzać, na ulicach ludzie w kocach, uciekają na piechotę ze swoich domów. Noc z piekła w Bejrucie.
