PSA to all athletes: Give up drinking. I truly believe it’s the lowest hanging fruit for any aspiring athlete. The domino effect it creates in your lifestyle is nearly impossible to outrun. You have your whole life to drink and a small window to make the most of your career.

Training is important. But it’s not cool. No one cares how good you get at training. People care how good you get at pitching. The goal should be to get out of the gym and onto a field rather than chase meaningless pull down/plyo velo records.

Anyone who has tried to develop a curveball knows how hard this is to do. Imo this is as rare as a triple digit fastball. True 12-6 is so hard to create. What a work of art!

One of the best things I’ve done this off-season is not wasting any throws in my day to day catch play. My dad made me this target to throw to everyday it’s the best. Playing catch/longtoss into a net 5 feet from your face ain’t it.

Reality is 99% won’t make it. Unless you’re a 1st rounder..They should all play college ball. I don’t see how you can justify mlb teams having a AAA, AA,high A, A, lowA and rookie ball teams.thats 150 young kids per organization when maybe 5percent make it. It doesn’t make sense

When designing a pitch it’s important to remember execution is king. If you design an elite breaking ball but you throw it 55 feet every single time it’s useless. Find something you are comfortable with and make it elite. Walk before you run 📈
