I haven’t driven one, but I think your points aren’t actually that important. Samsung probably has a phone with more storage, more battery life, faster charger, and cheaper, than the iPhone, and I’m still gonna pay double the price for the iPhone.

My old MacBook crapped out around 3 months out of warranty. My current one is 36 months out of warranty and still working. I think it’s likely just a probability thing, if you have enough Tesla vehicles on the roads, several are going to die just outside of the warranty.
