We put our players in really uncomfortable (mock) situations tonight so they could practice addressing issues with teammates (skipping study halls, staying up past curfew, etc.).
Their conversations / approach to the fake problems blew my mind. 🤯 Leadership can be learned 💚

Really proud of everything these girls accomplished at 16U. They bought in early (many 3 years ago) and put in a lot of work. Weekly softball homework, 4 hour team practices, private lessons, workouts, recruiting, team bonding, etc. Player development = 💚

Listen to your coach instruct your teammates. Listen to your teammates. Listen to umps when they explain calls.
Bonus: listening is a tremendous skill to have in the real world & it takes practice to perfect!
