I know softball tryouts are around the corner. But I wish teams and families would enjoy this season first and finish out Nationals as a team. Enjoy each season one at a time they go by so fast

I want to thank everyone for your patience and support this year as we adjusted and safely created experiences and opportunities. 2021 should be much greater “I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination”. -- Jimmy Dean

To the amazing softball world I call family ... Happy Easter. 🐣🐇🐰. Keep your spirits high your attitude positive and your love of the sport and ALL IT MEANS in your heart ❤️
I am asked often hey should we take the first offer we get. I say it doesn’t matter what order ... when the right school for all the right reasons comes along, it’s time to accept. No buyer remorse. Know in your heart and with your family what you want out of college
34 Home runs recorded this weekend in Peoria! Thank you Doug Almon for matching our pledge of $5 a Homerun. that makes $340 plus $5 from a coach. I will round it up to $500 for Breast Cancer Research.
640 AM. Cancel all games today. The extreme winds and chance of rain every other hour for balance of day is making today impossible. I am so very sorry.
Thank you to so many that keep asking about 2023 schedule. I am working out the kinks on new online registration process so that’s the delay. You can save the date on your schedules. Looking forward to a great 2023. May be adding a couple more special events if all works out
Exciting Championship finishes in both games. 14U Sparks 3-2 over Illinois Hawks. 18U SilverHawks Dennison 6-0 over Lady Expos. Congratulations to every team this week for amazing play and sportsmanship!
I want to thank so so many college coaches for coming out to Crown Point once again. It was like a whose who at so many games and the players and teams appreciate you taking the time to spend long days at the park. Several games had 20 schools behind the backstops. Awesome
During this week of Thanksgiving I wanted to shout out to the umpires, programs, athletes, families, facilities, colleges and our amazing team at ETA for allowing me to follow my passion and make so many close friends. The game is Fastpitch is just an amazing family Thank You!
So many Merry Christmas wishes to pass along.I have a special one for all the umpires who sacrifice so much for our great sport. You work long hours, can’t control the weather or fans, the best ones are never known. deep down, we all appreciate you the Happiest of Holidays!
Coaches, you know how you feel when you make a mistake in work/family/life. You want time to reflect/correct. Think about the split second athletes have to make decisions. A player is giving 100% and makes an error in judgement/mechanics,give them the same time to reflect/correct
Congratulations to our Queen of the Hill Champions with Beverly Bandits Otto defeating Select Fastpitch at 16 and Beverly Bandits Conroy defeating Velocity at 18. So many quality programs on the fields all weekend! Thank you UMPIRES staff and teams!
I want to thank so so many people for all your assistance with the execution of Let’s Play for U Stars and Stripes. It is amazing the quality of my team/staff,our parks, the umpires and most especially the teams and their student athletes. It’s what makes doing this so much fun!

Thank you to everyone who made this weekend such a a success! The parks, umpires, our ETA staff, all the colleges who came out, the teams and your families. But the most special thank you is to the weatherman! We exceeded 300 home runs in October for Charity Goal! 302
750 am update Orland Park 16 and 18. We are delayed till 4 pm. I will update at noon to make sure parks can still be ready. We will play 4 rounds of winners bracket at 80 minutes finish inning then resume tomorrow. Wait for noon update I am so sorry for this rain!
I would like to thank the Orland Park and St Charles Park District for having the fields in wonderful shape all weekend. And what would I do without Keith Stout and team and his coordination and support in St Charles.
There are still moving pieces to June and July schedules for Illinois and Indiana. We are looking at options and considering many things. Teams in events will get updates when I have the details.
Note for this weekend in St.Charles Wasco and Orland. Masks will be required when not on the fields or when not sitting in your chairs. Only college coaches will be allowed behind backstops. Parents and family need to have their own chairs and I suggest tents down the foul lines
12 noon Update 16 and 18 under. We are cancelled for the entire day in Orland Park. The fields have gotten worse since 730. Water is coming up from under and it is impossible to prep. So in a while I will be revising a Sunday schedule. It will not be a modified format
Thank you everyone so much for your attendance this weekend! Even better by 830 am this morning I was told by 4 different managers that they had players offers already from the combine. That is what it’s all about!
I am so impressed. We are seeing some terrific pitching this early in the season. Especially at 16 where I have been watching. Very impressed and can’t wait to see how this shakes out tomorrow!
LP4U StrikeOut Cancer will be played at Eastside Complex in St Charles this weekend. Once the 5pm deadline tonight for confirmation is past I will start creating the new schedule. Plan on 2-3 games both Saturday/Sunday based on teams remaining in event. Thanks for your patience
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there that give so much to our girls in this great game. Thanks for sharing your time to make it all possible! I am sure all your daughters will be showing their appreciation even more today.
Another update. Still more schools still checking in and we are sorry the ones we missed. Thank you so very much for the support. And I am astonished in how many players were talked to after their schedules were completed. That says it all

PGF Midwest Regional Championships. With the heat index predicted for this week we are changing the bracket games to 95 minutes finish the inning. This will help the athletes and the umpires through the week. Thursday and Sunday for final group of games will advise on that day
I cannot begin to thank so many people who worked so hard to help me with this weekends showcase. Thank you all. And to the teams who drew astounding crowds throughout the event from early Saturday thru Sunday night - YOU REALLY CAME THROUGH FOR YOUR STUDENT ATHLETES.
Queen of Hill Weather Update Orland Park I am going to delay till 10am start with 80 minute games pending a weather update around 6am. Crown Point I am waiting on a weather update and will advise around 6 am.
929 am. We are Cancelled. The risk of more rain once we get the fields back up and the amount of water in our outfields is not worth the risk. I am very very sorry

Until the NCAA finally decides when college coaches can be out please don’t try to enter a camp in June. It’s hard to plan but as soon as they give a final ruling we will reopen our camp schedule.
There are some creative things we are working on to adjust to the current issues.
The month of October all our events will be donating to Cancer Foundations. $5 per Homerun for the month Please have your girls sign the boards!!!! Andrew Weishar Foundation and Breast Cancer Research Foundation will be our recipients. Thank you for all you do.
I would like to thank all the teams who played with such passion and skill this weekend in Crown Point! Amazing field of teams at 12 and 14 for non high schoolers. The future is very bright in the region!
