I’ve had athletes that were not very fast in the 100 when you, we focused on the 200/400, and came back down when older, and wildly different times. Had the opposite happen more often where focus on speed (100/200) young, and 400 when older

@KoachVaughn @ceasealeo23 Every track coach knows that a 4.3 or 4.4 kid IMMEDIATELY pops on the track. It is legit night and day just watching a 4.3 or 4.4 kid and those slower. No shame in being a 4.5 or 4.6 athlete, but 4.3 and 4.4 kids are easy to see once you’ve seen it as a coach
