A bunch of teenagers gave up their entire Saturday to help a bunch of strangers because we asked them for help.
That same scenario played out all over Iowa from many different communities all week long!

Can't explain how proud I am of this young group. We had a lot to replace from last year (asst coach included) and I'm not sure many people thought we would be very good. Kids kept grinding and improving every single week. Who knows how far we can go now, we're not done yet!

At some point I hope we actually work on ways to help grow HS baseball in Iowa. Cutting two weeks from the season and cramming a state tourney in just four days does nothing but hurt our sport!

People always ask me why North Linn is a special place. It is a 100% commitment from kids, parents, and coaches to do things the right way. Our youth programs drive our HS success because of parent involvement. Success breeds success. Just happy to be along for the ride!
