FYI My tweet was not taking a shot at @BallCoachJoeMo he has always been supportive of Starkville football. We also have some good players currently on MSU’s roster. But once again I will always push for my kids to get a chance to get a free education & play ball anywhere.

Kemper County Schools has selected Starkville High passing game coordinator @CoachRRWest to lead the Wildcats. Coach Westerfield is a graduate of Kemper County High and was a member of the 2016 State Championship coaching staff.

It’s hard for me to give up on a young kid who has potential but my tolerance is short for upperclassmen. Who will be gone in a 1-2yrs. We got more time to change the behavior of the young gins & I’ve seen kids grow up & make a total change and go on to have product careers.

Breaking: Randal Montgomery has been named the new head football coach at North Panola. Montgomery was previously the offensive coordinator at Starkville. He’s a proven winner, great coach and leader. This is one helluva of hire for the Cougars.

Good story on Mike Vick and Matt Ryan on #espn. A lot of us should be grateful for wht Vick did to the game. Gave the so call ath qb’s a chance to play qb instead of being labeled as an athlete. He was really ahead of his time. Can only imagine him in an uptempo spread system.

I’m kinda different but I think Thts the ultimate trophy as a coach to help change a kid life & behavior who most people gave up on & end up make it and be productive one day. At the end of the day we are in the business of saving kids lives. Sports has save a lot of kids lives.
