Keep it simple! Here’s our estimated max chart based on 3 or 2 reps when building strength m. We prefer mean velo at .30m/s and with ballistic movements peak velo 1.35-1.50m/s

Velocity is always happening when there is movement. This helps with measuring velocity with %s along with set and rep ranges. The other pic is one way to implement VBT into your training. The key to VBT is “Intent”. I define intent as Compensatory Acceleration Training!

When doing ballistic movements we track peak velocity. This is how I term it… 1.35-1.50m/s (Maximal intent) singles to triples 1.50-1.75m/s (Technique- Force Focus) 1.75-2.00m/s (Dynamic technique) +2.00m/s (Starting Strength- reactive strength and neuromuscular efficiency)
