It’s not your coaches job to love you. That is the parent role. Your coaches job to coach you. Your parent’s job is to love you unconditionally. These roles have shifted the wrong way. Right people in the right buckets can solve lots of problems in today’s sports landscape.

Ava had herself a Fall Season! New challenges, new levels, same preparation for her mindset. 🔥
This fall, I decided to make the move up to 18s, and wow, I’ve learned so much about myself. I’ve learned to be patient, stay present, and embrace new challenges, opportunities, and even setbacks. I’ve soaked up every bit of knowledge from my amazing coaches, mentors, and all the hard-working players on our team. But most importantly, I’ve learned to appreciate every moment I get to compete—on and off the field. Huge thank you to my coaches for trusting me in the ⭕️and letting me compete against some of the most talented hitters in the country. Amazing season ladies! Hold your heads high! 💜
We dropped a tough one tonight 5-10 to Hastings, eliminating us from the State tournament. Put up a great fight, just couldn't quite get it done. The Bears end the season with an impressive 31-9 record. Many expected this to be a rebuilding year for the Bears, but behind our lone senior, @BrookeJanning , this crew bought in and kept raising the bar. Brooke. You carried this team on your shoulders with so much grace this year. You are one heck of a ball player. An amazing teammate and leader. An incredibly hard worker. You are destined to do great things in your years ahead and we will be proudly cheering you on. Once a Bear, Always a Bear 💜 🐾

I stepped away from Twitter after I left coaching. If I’m being brutally honest, it was HARD, and it changed me. I know who I am now and I choose to seek the things that bring me JOY! Now I get to help more coaches do the exact same thing! What more could I ask for? 🖤
