Not trying to prevent subdividing a larger parcel. We do it all the time. Let’s just not do it in a way that renders the land useless? There is a well known and exploited exception in the Texas property code that allows these landing strips to be created with no oversight. Predatory lenders sell them on owner finance to unqualified borrowers. And nobody will ever reassemble them because they are super rural. They are a stain… and with a little creativity they could have made a much better product
