Decentralization is a spectrum. I’m not saying *INSERT YOUR CHAIN HERE* is totally centralized. But are they decentralized enough to survive OFAC sanctions?
96.6% Ethereum block builders and 89.48% validators do not censored OFAC sanctioned addresses. This is true
I have been humbled. Frontend is hard shit.
Over the past 7 years I’ve done
- ML dev
- Blockchain
- Backend
- some android dev
- Zero knowledge proofs
- decent C and C++
- even done embedded dev with both C and Rust.
But FE dev is hard and annoying asf.
Backend engineer: setting up docker containers, managing database, writing efficient code.
Frontend engineers: Hmmm…. So I have to turn this button Blue?

When a student takes academic journals - 35 years in prison
When AI companies steal data for training their models - turn the other way.
Make it make sense.

He’s using nationalism as engagement bait. His products either has provide better quality or better value. His only USP seems to be “Indian made”. While this is commendable in its own right, this is not a viable business model in a free market.
This is not a glitch. Counting numbers at scale is really hard. Each post request (a like in this case) and get requests are handled by different threads and the they periodically sync up. That’s why you see crazy fluctuating likes and subscriber numbers.

Best explanation of APIs I've ever seen, "when you ask a waiter in a restaurant to get you food, he goes to the chef and tell him what you ordered. The chef will make that dish and send it to you through the waiter. Here, the waiter is the API".
@mryalamanchi
My last embedded C program was a from a few years back when I built and ran a tiny machine learning model on a cortex M0 microcontroller.
I’m currently working on developing an open source hardware wallet with Rust on STM32 microcontroller.
Yes, embedded C and Rust is hard.

Hear me out. If companies are taking reservations for a product that’s not going to launch for 3+ years they should give the buyers a deed to the reservation that they can sell later to other people if they decide they don’t want it anymore.
why are rugs so expensive? pillows? curtains? why does the trash can fill up so fast? why do i have to clean my kitchen so much? why am I doing laundry twice a week? where the fuck is all this dust coming from???
I’ll tweet my ZK learning process everyday to hold me accountable.
Day 1 of ZK
- created a rust crate for arithmetization of logic gates
- tried to understand bilinear pairing and failed (again 🥲)

If you have a shit tonne of backlogs, poor grades and you are worried about placements or getting a job, Dm me or
@Abhinavmir
. We have a fuck all cgpa and over 16+ backlogs. Yet we have pretty well paying jobs. Don’t lose hope.
If any 2nd or 3rd year students are worried about placements/masters and stuffs please reach out to me. I have some knowledge about getting off-campus jobs and applying for masters. I'll help you out as much as possible.
@KKulbhushan
You could also look at it from a different perspective. Instead of the family suffering to make ends meet, they will now have time to start a business or upskill and get good jobs and contribute more to the economy. Nobody wants just the bare minimum.

Back in my second year, I used to message people on LinkedIn asking for internship opportunities.
Now I get at least 5 messages a week from different companies asking me to work with them.
It is crazy what you can do with leverage.
I know we are busy talking about the US Capitol hill riots.
But this is a reminder that on this day, one of the most brilliant inventor of the 20th century died alone, poor, hungry and cold.
Today is the death anniversary of Nikola Tesla.
A lot of midwits that complain Ethereum has given up on L1 scaling do not realize how much research that goes into L2s today is directly applicable to L1 scaling.
Case in point: zkEVM, Data availability sampling.
What is the biggest conspiracy that you believe?
I’ll go first. Pharma companies have already found the cure for a lot of diseases but there’s more money in treating it over curing it.
Every job should at least pay a living wage.
You only work so that you can live. That’s why it’s called “making a living”. If you can’t afford to live then what’s the point of working?
Some of my Ethereum homies (

) gave me an idea: An end-to-end privacy first token standard.
I implemented the first step towards this idea: A rust crate to perform partial homomorphic encryption with paillier cryptosystems.
Next step: implement zk
I got the most beautiful piece of computer Apple ever made.
It’s a MacPro with a 8 core Intel Xeon processor, 64GB ECC RAM and dual AMD D700 Graphics Card.
I’m currently running a home server with this hardware.
My plans:
- run an uncensored Local LLM model
- run an ETH
The newly passed telecom bill in Lok Sabha today is really bad for the people’s rights and freedom.
The bill allows the government to perform mass surveillance, and intercept and censor communications in the name of national security.
The bill mandates biometric verification
Fuck this. I need a 32 core cpu, 256 gigs RAM and 400GB swap memory to generate the verification key for even the smallest groth16 recursive proof. That’s enough hardware to run a solana full node.
People always think
#MachineLearning
can solve all problems. What they don't understand is, Machine learning is like a hammer. Some problems are nails and some problems are screws. Even if you can hammer a screw, you probably shouldn't.
@mervenoyann
I strongly disagree with this. There’s still so much research on different architectures and cell types. Research on various non-monotonic activation functions. We still don’t know how the brain works. Once we figure that out, the current deep learning landscape would change.
Hey! I'm Arun. I'm a Deep Learning Engineer.
I'm interested in:
- Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence 🧠
- Blockchain (Mostly just smart contracts) 📜
- Climate Change and Sustainable Development 🌳
Hit me up if you want to chat about any of these.

Gotta suck to be Zuck.

I have 2 moods
- Get filthy rich and live in a penthouse in NYC🏢
or
- Chuck everything and live in a cabin in Scandinavia.🌲
There's nothing in between.
