I’m just going to say this. I’ve never said that Southern Miss or Tenn will win this series. But I just don’t think Tenn fans know what to expect with the crowds and atmosphere in Hattiesburg. It’s going to be fun

One of the coolest scenes I’ve ever witnessed. Gehrig Conrad lost his father a couple of days ago, tonight in the 3rd round of the state playoffs he absolutely dealt! With two strikes his teammates gave him a hug and then he unleashed a 91 mph fastball.

I’m going to thoroughly explain:
A. 99.9 percent of college baseball teams don’t have a visitors locker room. So when it rains or lightning. They stay in the dugout, bus or wherever they choose. If the weather is really bad, they go to the hotel or an alternate sight on campus.

Maurice loved our players like family. I saw him cry at the end of each season. He was quick to tell the coaches to stop being so hard on the guys,”they were trying their hardest”. He was also quick to blame the umpires when we lost. He wasn’t our bus driver, he was a teammate
The Belhaven Baseball world just lost a great friend about 45 mins ago. Our bus driver and no. one fan for many years, Maurice Robinson, passed away after a rough battle with cancer. Due to the virus there won’t b a funeral service for the public. May b a memorial service later

. Neil Reed was a good player and a great friend. He gave me a pair of Hoosier, red striped socks because he didn’t want them. I heard a lot of these Bobby Knight stories, from Neil, at our house in Hattiesburg. So sad.

Almost every MLB team has a prospect academy in the Dominican. These guys are housed, fees, trained and learn English. For most it is their only chance to get out of poverty. I’m sure they are very happy to see one of their own do well.
