@AmicoHoops Beal is not nearly as bad as his reputation at this point. It's strictly a matter of salary and the fact that the Suns already had elite scoring in Durant/Booker. They needed to add defense not another scorer like Beal. That move killed the Suns and hurt Beal's reputation.

@HotHandTheory They have too many guys that are scorers but not particularly efficient.

@TrackPhantom @RepoleStable Rapid consolidation is always painful, but it's clear we have too much supply of extremely costly tracks & not enough horses and owners because the economics of the business suck. IMO costs have to be removed to generate free cash to invest in improving the game.

@TrackPhantom @RepoleStable One important thing it showed was that if some of the biggest tracks were closed, gamblers would flock to smaller ones that were open and the handle and free cash flow would explode. So imagine if we closed the weaker ones supported by casinos. Money would flow to strong.
