In a former life managing federal racketeering cases, we had to factually prove a person intended to commit the crime. And when considering Trump openly reveals an intent to engage in criminal conduct--and flaunts it--he is nothing more than a common felon.

Re Orban visit to the traitor.. "Secret conversations" are a fantasy. All has been known; is now being known; and after this thug's departure, there is nothing that will not have been revealed. Everything! This process is called, btw, "evidence-gathering."

Former FBI agent concurs, totally. A contemptible failure of police command leadership underpins this disgraceful spectacle, and others like it. Most sworn officers, in my experience, are certainly better than this. Or, at least want to be better.

Investigated organized cases against mobsters for two decades and there was not a single occasion in which a mob guy attacked our criminal justice system for pursuing cases against them. So, Trump's attacks against the courts are uniquely contemptible.

The Secret Service is responsible, by law, for protecting the President. FBI assists the Secret Service, if requested. But the sole authority to protect the Chief Executive rests with those who stand alongside the President. And right now, they are silent.
