Cheers - it’s not my year for pupillage, but I’m so proud of how far I have come. The rejections hurt and they will for a while, but I will come out better and stronger. So here’s to all you aspiring barristers, it’s tough, but we got this. 5th time lucky? See you next year.

16 hours travel time and no luggage? Still worth it
It’s day 1 of my holiday and so far:
- my flight was cancelled
- I got put on a new flight (not to my destination)
- the airline left my luggage in London
- car hire company can’t transfer the booking so having to get the train
- I still have 4 hours of travelling to do

Definitely bean to cup. Re environmental concerns, be careful where you get beans from. Look a what % goes back to farmers as the big companies take huge profits, pay vast manufacture/transport fees and give farmers nothing. Recommend: dark arts and Miles (Kenyan brew my fave)
