comes to an end, we recognize that there’s still much to be done. We continue to make progress on our 10-year Reconciliation Action Plan and encourage everyone to continue their own reconciliation journeys.

The Spirit Garden features architectural elements from First Nations, Inuit and Métis cultures. Some of the space’s defining features include:

Today is Police & Peace Officers' National Memorial Day. To mark this occasion, official flagpoles at Toronto City Hall, Metro Hall, & all Civic Centres will be flown at half-mast. The Toronto sign will also be dimmed in commemoration.
