In 2018, the Pentagon conducted its first full financial audit, costing nearly $1 billion and covering $2.7 trillion in assets. The audit failed, revealing widespread financial mismanagement, poor asset tracking, and unverified transactions. While no major fraud was found, accountability issues persisted. Supporters argued the cost was justified if it led to long-term savings, while critics saw it as an expensive failure. The Pentagon committed to annual audits, but ongoing inefficiencies raise doubts about meaningful reform.

@onlyBTCismoney @elonmusk I’ve seen claims about DOGE accessing Treasury payment systems, dismantling USAID, and but where’s the hard evidence? Got any concrete sources?”

Appreciate the follow-up! These cases are definitely more in line with what Tyler was talking about. Some seem more like personal corruption, while others involve nonprofits in shady ways. Curious… are there any cases where a government was caught systematically running slush funds through NGOs as a full-on laundering operation?”

Dude, Ethereum is a centralized mess that keeps changing the rules every few years just to stay functional. It’s all hype, VC money, and a never-ending cycle of patches to fix its broken design. Meanwhile, Bitcoin just works… no gimmicks, no moving goalposts. @Blockstream actually built useful stuff: Lightning for instant payments, Liquid for fast and confidential transfers, satellites to keep Bitcoin unstoppable, and mining infra to keep it decentralized. Yeah, Liquid is federated, but that’s by design… it doesn’t try to be something it’s not, unlike Ethereum’s L2 clown show. ETH’s “better dev tools” are just complicated workarounds for a system that wasn’t built to last. More users? Sure, if you count Ponzi schemes, MEV bots, and people gambling on the next airdrop. Let’s see where it all stands in 10 years…Bitcoin isn’t here for short-term games.

@999copperhead @PeterSchiff @elonmusk I’m not hoping for a total collapse! That would be devastating for families and economies. But history shows that trusting centralized systems leads to repeated failures. A more transparent, trust-minimized system like Bitcoin offers a better path forward.
