@alan_brennan92 @leinsterrugby For sure. Feel like the bar is rising most years at that level, and you really have to be something special to start at 20âs grade. An overload of talent, not a bad thing I suppose!

@alan_brennan92 @leinsterrugby Interesting to see what happens there as Conor OâShaugnessy (Rock SCT winning 10 from last year) is also Irish 19s and in the picture, surprised he wasnât in the 20s squad for SN.

@alan_brennan92 @leinsterrugby Very much so. Will be in the shakeup for Irish 19s this season, third year playing cup, best player Iâve covered so far.

@Doc4319 Maybe youâre right. There is an argument that Prendergast is in a very good Leinster team and Crowley is in a relatively poor Munster side. But it doesnât take away from the fact, they both did their jobs well and the criticism of BOTH at times is OTTâŚ.. Both quality optionsđ

@robggill @CaolanSRugby To be honest, age has nothing to do with it, if youâre good enough, youâre old enough and SP is good enough already. Because of Prendergastâs ability at school and U-20s he was always going to be fast-tracked in the post Sexton era.

@robggill @alan_brennan92 I agree with a lot of what you said here tbf. Certain pundits were quick to get on Crowleyâs back and it was unwarranted. Iâve been banging the drum about his ability for years. I wouldnât have had any issue with him starting on Saturday. But a lot of the SP criticism is unfair

@flying_cabbage Iâm not the most flexible guy so trust me Iâm not bending anything! Thatâs your opinion, but respectfully I donât agree. He has 4 caps and in my opinion heâs done well. I saw a case for Crowley to start as well, but I do think Prendergast has had the better season.

@flying_cabbage Well you canât expect your 10 to be the star man all the time, can you? It comes down to the service, speed of ball, very hard for anyone to get go forward in the first half when the breakdown was dominated. Sheehan and Conan made huge differences too in that respect.

@david_eyre1 đŻ. Itâs a good problem to have and I donât think thereâs much between them in the battle. Iâve always said I think Crowley has much more levels in him , and Prendergast will only get better too. A modern day Ollie Campbell v Tony Ward!

@CaolanSRugby I do agree that Leinster talent wise is overpopulated and there needs to be more done to spread the talent across all the provinces to make sure the provincial scene is more competitive , but also to ensure talent doesnât get wasted by only playing a few times a season

@CaolanSRugby I love what Munster stand for, always have. But this jealous little brother vibe is getting tiring especially when it comes to Ireland.

@alan_brennan92 Iâm a big Crowley supporter, always have been. I donât mind if people express their opinions in a factual way, but a lot of the criticism is green eyed monster stuff. The lads are both doing their best for the jersey, get behind them and leave your provincial emotions at the door
