Since using
#Proxmox
in my
#HomeLab
, I rarely run VMs on my workstation Pc anymore. Even for small testing machines
#Proxmox
is so much better!
How are you running your VMs at Home?
For a few weeks, I'm now working solely on
#macOS
, and haven't used
#Windows
anymore.
It's just insane how much power this Mac mini has! 🤯
I think we need to talk about that ...

You’re missing the fact that it’s still a Twitter Blue feature. If Twitter would really want to increase security, then they would remove it everywhere!
This has nothing to do with security!
I'm preparing a new video series about learning Docker for beginners and advanced people.
Thought it might be great to get everybody on the same page.
What do you think guys?

Do you often switch
#Linux
Distros, or do you have one favorite, where do you mostly stick to?
I'm honestly only using
@ubuntu
in my
#HomeLab
, and I rarely try out anything else.
Thank you all so much for your support, we wish you all the best for 2023, and a Happy New Year! 🎆🎊🎈
I had been lazy during Christmas holidays :D, but next year is gonna be awesome.
Any of you guys running their own email servers, or manage mails though your own domains?
Hope you got SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI in place…
if not? Next video is gonna cover you 🫶
Most of the people get into IT industry, not because they like it, but because of the money. They do the job to make a high income.
People who love what they do, they don’t focus on money! They focus on their passion and their excitement to learn more!
I recently had a discussion with someone if running a Homelab ever helped me in my career.
Yes, it is absolutely vital for your career progression in IT.
Trust me, all the tinkering and experimenting at home pays off at some time!

Have you ever wondered how to get started with Docker and Containers?
In this video, I'll explain why we use Containers, how to run containers, the architecture of Docker, and how to get started.
#TechTutorial
#Docker
The last video about
#Docker
was already a great success!
That motivates me to continue this series, and make more tutorials about very specific topics.
Thanks for all your support ❤️
Thinking about, 🤔 maybe at some point I should make updated versions of my old tutorials.
Such as Docker, Compose, Networking, or WireGuard ... it's already a bit outdated.
Would you still watch it, even if you know the stuff?
Which is your favorite
#Linux
distribution, and why?
I'll start with
@ubuntu
because it's very simple and powerful for both Desktop and Servers that always served me well. Most people get started with that and you find many great resources!
⚠️ Sysadmins be aware: secure all your outbound
#emails
with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI!
(yes, it's really simple ☝️😁)
Thanks,
@easydmarc
, for providing all the great tools!
Day 1
Today, I will start my

If you’re new in IT and asking for help:
NEVER excuse for being a *noob*
It’s totally fine you’re just starting and you might not understand even basic things. Remember we all started at 0, and being an expert doesn’t mean you’re somewhat superior!

One of the most important skills in IT is socializing!
Why? Because you can never know everything, but you can know the right people!
Make some friends, and exponentially increase your knowledge.
And don’t forget to share your expertise with others! Don’t be selfish 😉
Since I switched to MacOS, I couldn’t be happier!
And even though some people deny my experience with various other systems, here’s my journey which ones I’ve used
Win 95 -> 98 -> Me -> XP -> Vista -> 7 -> SuSE -> Debian -> Ubuntu -> Arch -> Win 8 -> Win 10 -> Win 11 -> MacOS
