As an experiment I decided to shutdown one of my 1u servers running Proxmox to see if my Intel NUC could handle the workload. To my surprise it was able to handle all 6 VMs without a sweat!. My 1u server was pulling 140 watts!.Intel NUC is only pulling 26 watts!. Going to let

Today I learned that UniFi PoE injectors have a reset button on them to reset an access point so I don’t have to climb up a ladder!. Today I also learned that this doesn’t work with most of their access points and I will still have to climb up a ladder! 🪜

I’m not sure why Proxmox settled on sequential numbers for Virtual Machine IDs. If you delete a VM and reuse the ID, all backups from the previous machine now show up for the new machine. Why not a UUID? Am I missing something?.
