@bencm305 @JohnDeere @CDFarming Autopath sounds a great tool but the activation cost was ridiculous when I enquired.

@SimonMagus @TWBFarms @_Farmergeddon @Tesco Travelled the length of North Island today and other than a severe lack of infrastructure investment on most holdings I am struggling to work out how they are any more efficient than UK farmers at the moment.

@potatosystem1 @accunnington was there an obvious difference found with the 1 store that exceeded the temporary MRL?

@vaderbogger @FursieRS6 @KellyFarmWife @RachelReevesMP @Jamie4North Maybe split shares 3 ways across 3 generations and then when your mother passes, pass her shares down to your son’s children if he has any at the time? This feels like it reduces everyone’s estate value as much as possible, spreads risk and maximises allowances. (I’m no expert)

@vaderbogger @FursieRS6 @KellyFarmWife @RachelReevesMP @Jamie4North You don’t have to gift it all; have you considered gifting enough of the assets/shares to significantly reduce IHT risk whilst leaving the house and enough shares in your name to justify taking a living from the business without issue?

@samdknowlton @RobertDrewry7 @btcave1 @GRONreturns Any data on where a traditionally produced silage sits in comparison to the “fermented grass you are talking about”? I assume different pastures will have different figures aswell?

@StephensonC @DanPBrown Weren’t you taught as a kid that if you chop worms in half you get twice as many worms?

@TJex_RegenAg @FarmerAndyH @FarmingUK @TJex_RegenAg having had a bit to do with Solar, there are an abundance of reasons that these warehouses/factories/car parks don’t have solar panels on them but they all come down to the fact it doesn’t provide a sufficient financial return.

@russbmckenzie Depends where you are starting from. Cheaper if you already have an intake pit, cleaner etc. and you can slot the sorter into the system. When the rep set the cleaner originally I was getting about 5% reject. Now we understand how to set it ourselves that is down to approx 1%

@OOOfarmer @paddytt2 If land isn’t sold for 20yrs after being inherited there could be a fair CGT bill ontop of IHT

@RBoldan @Tom_Clarke @DanNeidle @FarmerSimonC @Jes_Squirrell @cutlerstom @hanslope It’s arguably the only opportunity for a farm business to expand in a meaningful way.
