Based on scrims Saudi and Finland were the best teams on the sig lucio comp and we felt our way through finals was not the mirror. We lost confidence in dive as the week went on so attempted a comp pivot yesterday. Scrim results were promising but clearly not enough.

Zen will not be meta by time OWCS comes around (maybe fine on 3-4) maps. But hero is not optimal on 70% of map pool. Poor guy doesn’t need a nerf
I know we love Zen (I do too) but either they reduce zenyatta's shields by 25 on tuesday or we're in for a mid-OWCS meta shakeup

Watching OWCS through each players POV as they win or lose has in my opinion been the most enjoyable way to watch Overwatch in years, hearing and seeing the fun, banter and emotions adds a much more engaging product and IMO an easier way to grow a community.

My guess is that is its easier for blizzard to do sponsorship if everything goes through the main broadcast and via clean feed costreams. However I strongly feel we should try to find a workaround for this.(A streamer overlay sponsor pack maybe)

I also think that its a bit disrespectful to players. In this big offseason, players have streamed scrims and the swiss stage, keeping interest in OW alive, whilst Blizzard has largely been hands off during this time.

Now we have almost no LANs being one of the first Esports to showcase through player and team POVS is IMO a great way to rebuild OW esports, help players create brands, and ultimately grow the game to where sponsors want to reenter the space.

There is 4 divisions, allowing teams of all ranks to be able to participate in an even league, with prize pools available. The fact its subscription based means it can hopefully sustain itself without relying on viewership (One of contenders downfalls)

If Korean players where able to leave after getting knocked out to get a second chance, it would be better to finish last like Runaway, then to be in playoffs and not qualify like Yeti. I agree Korean system is not optimal but this rule makes sense.
