DeFi and regulators have incredible alignment. We all want fair, open and efficient markets. The fact that regulators don’t understand how much better DeFi is at achieving these outcomes is our issue to solve. The burden of proof is always going to be on novel technology.

USD is a medium of exchange, BTC is a store of value. Savings is a luxury in the developed world. Another reason USA needs to embrace DeFi and stables to further USD dominance and help those who need it (stability) the most
During my time in Africa, while advocating for the Lightning Network, I faced a cold, hard realization.
Despite my efforts, I found that more people were interested in dealing with USDT rather than Bitcoin.

No currency starts out stable. A currency has to have shared perceived value, therefore BTC must absorb value from under appreciating asset classes. Once large enough, it becomes stable and you will use satoshi’s as your currency. This is known.
